it selects 'Intel QSV' by default, and i know thats not right. it doesnt makes any sense to me that it plays fine in media players, but not in vegas pro.Īfter fiddling around in settings, find out it was the hardware decoder. the MOV files use HEVC (h265) codec, which im not quite sure if i ever threw it in vegas pro. Processed and submitted the videos just in time before prime time (news on 7pm).Īfter came home from work, couldnt help but to investigate further. turns out fine, in vegas pro as well, except the time ive wasted for the conversion process. Rather than wasting more time, i proceeded converting all the videos using handbrake to mp4/h264 format. The usual, googling gave doesnt help much. I have quicktime installed of course and K-Lite codec as well as MPC-HC. Playback in media players went fine though.
It just renders blank/black screen in vegas pro, with just audio. Somehow today, one of our sources sent me MOV files, which is usually not a problem before, not untill today.
Our sources (stringers) usually send us videos by telegram/whatsapp, usually in mp4 format. Im working at news agency, provides news for tv station (in video format obviously). I've been using vegas pro for a long time. Log in to your MAGIX account and download the latest builds here!.Not sure if your version of VEGAS is updated? Hate speech, racism, witch hunts, etc.
